PH Increaser

What Is  pH Increaser?

PH increaser is a chemical product used to raise the pH level of water in pools, spas, or hot tubs. Maintaining proper pH (7.2–7.8 for pools, 7.4–7.6 for spas) ensures sanitizers work effectively, prevents equipment corrosion, and reduces skin/eye irritation.

How to Use It?

1. Test pH First: Use a testing kit to measure current pH. If below the target range (e.g., <7.2), you need an increaser.

2. Calculate Dose: General rule: Add 1–2 pounds of pH increaser per 10,000 gallons of water to raise pH by ~0.2–0.3 units.

3. Apply Correctly: Dissolve the powder in a bucket of warm water first, then pour slowly around the pool/spa edges while circulating the water.

4. Retest After 2 Hours: Adjust again if needed, ensuring not to exceed the ideal pH range.

Tip: Always add pH adjusters gradually to avoid overshooting!
